O.K. I want to take the Mazda badge off the front and rear of the car and I also want to take the text that says Mazda off the rear and the RX8 text of the rear too, basically i want all badges off the car...Now where are there going to be holes? Does the front Mazda badge have a hole, etc..? Also what is the best way to take the badges off without harming the paint?

I'm pretty sure the front mazda logo has 3 holes, and the rest of the badges in the back each have 2-3 holes also. I don't know what the best way to pull them off, besides yanking on them.

 

holes behind the front symbol badge, the rear symbol badge, and the "MAZDA" badge on the rear. the "Rx-8" is the only one without holes.

Well If i go to a Mazda dealership and purchase lets say a Mazdaspeed badge from like the Mazdaspeed 3 or something, will that fit right in to replace the mazda badge on the trunk of my RX8?

that looks aweful dominion... its VERY noticeable to me.

for someone that are at all into cars... they'll pick that right up. hope you fill it in and have some paint. get some bondo and touch up paint asap... ur ride doesn't deserve that.

It was the way I bought the car I dont mind. But my Girl wants to buy the OEM badges and put them on

 

what i did was i bought a mazdaspeed front bumper with no badge and i used sand paper on the rear mazda logo and emblem and painted them black. as for the rx8 badge i painted that black too as well and mounted it on the inside of my trunk. the best way to get badges off is oral-b cool mint floss. make sure its cool mint or it wont look as cool. There will be left over sticky stuff on the surface from the badges that will be a pain to get out, i used a cloth and lighter fluid to wipe it off.

 

Can anyone give me some info on where to get a service manual for my 04 Rx, Besides the dealership for $177. I cant seem to find anything online. Driving me nuts!

 

ebay usually has some, keep and eye out for people parting out their cars in the for sale section too.

I debadged my car before i painted the emblems black. I used a heat gun and some fishing line to get it off. the front one is a bitch to get off i dont suggest doing it my little prongs broke off.
