R-Magic Wing Questions

I saw this at japanparts.com
http://www.japanparts.com/Pic/pic151/001-005.jpg

but the picture is so small and there is only one angle. does anyone know how high this is, i dont want anything huge, something that could be thought of as a normal sized wing, basically nothing ricey.

with shipping it is more then the mazdaspeed wing and will take a really long time to get, over a month.

i searched and found a post with a yellow r-magic wing, but i dont think it was the same because it was huge.

any help is greatly appreciated

It's most likely taller than the mazdaspeed spoiler. This won't be a "normal size" wing as you say, by any means. R-Magic or not, might be trespassing into the rice category. Sorry to say.

I think it looks good. It gives the rear more definition since the 8's rear is relatively flat, but I haven't seen enough pictures of it to say if its rice. In my books if it looks good, its not rice. I was considerng getting rid of my MS wing for this wing. But too much hassle and not enough pictures of it on the internet!

Youpey, I have pics of that particular wing ... I believe I posted it awhile back. To me it looks like the spoiler is slightly taller than OEM and MS. Bordering on WRX and Lancer height. Here's the link:

https://www.rx8club.com/showpost.php...7&postcount=21

I think in those pics, the spoiler looks a bit tall from the angle that the photographer took it at (upwards tilt)

that thing looks huge. like you said it could be from the angle. from the first picture it doesnt look big at all, from the others it looks really bulky. i really dont want to pay 1200 with shipping for something i wont like

the silver one in that pic isnt' an rx-8.

anyway, you have to factor in the bottom lip mount on this spoiler. it's lip is what, I think, gives the spoiler a bulky look.

I guess it's all relative, but from the looks of all those pics, to me all I see is a big spoiler. Where did the car go??? And that Celica is very fast and furious...

I've looked at this spoiler for awhile now and am finally ready to spend the money to put somethign on my car. I've seen it for a little over $1,000, but I too am having a hard time justifying spending that much for a spoiler, especially a spoiler I haven't seen in person. Where did you consider buying it from?

I'm not looking for the lip spoiler, but the bigger wing spoiler. Also I can't find anything close to a spoiler on your website.
