It just sounded like you were saying that it was Racing Beat who was resposible for "hyping" their products.
Apparently that is NOT what you are saying.
I do agree with you that there are other companies out there that have equally good products.

Well, better is of course highly subjective. I don't call it hype when a lot of people praise a product, I call it hitting your target market. People give this praise for a lot of different reasons, its not all about horsepower claims. You have to take a look at why people are praising them...if their motivations are different from yours, then maybe those opinions don't apply for your application. Frankly, when I mod my car, in a lot of ways a "step above stock" will be what I'm looking for. I want it to sound good but not be too loud, I want it to handle good but I don't want it to be less streetable, I want it to look good but I bought an RX-8, not the batmobile, etc. So RB is pretty much on the money for my needs, but everybody is different.
