Hey guys so i was up near pleasanton area and i was parked beside a street. Someone happens to hit my rear bumper on the left side little dent went in and run away while i was eating eh. What of a luck. Now i am looking for a new rear bumper. Anyone know where they got some good rear bumpers? I'm planning on ordering it online and bring it to the shop, it should be quick putting on the bumper correct? Anyone have any recommendations on the rear would be nice as well =D.

It depends on many things. Does your car have an aftermarket bodykit? If not, I would be real careful in choosing a rear bumper because there aren't too many rear bumpers that would flow well with the stock body. Give us more info.

The thing is about insurance is that if its not over 1000 dollars there is no discountable fee. So my parents are making me not to report it and just fix it up. Also i wanted a new rear bumper anyways since i had a lot of scratches on my other one and its better to try something new always =D

well if ur deductable is 1000 dollars you are better off fixing it yourself. but aftermarket options are limited and if you don't have anything but a rear it's going to look off.

that was the thing i was wondering about, I was looking into www.body-kitz.com i dont know if its a legit site but they seem reasonable. Also the question is will any rear bumper fit my black 05 rx8? Hopefully some people here can pick me out some nice ones since many people here has great taste. I was wondering if 04-08 Mazda RX8 Veilside Version 1 Urethane Rear Apron would work?

The website you mentioned earlier is not reliable. Try looking at the Mazdaspeed rear. The only reason why I recommend Mazdaspeed is because it is covered under insurance since it's from the factory.
Just last week, 1 out of 3 deers decided to run into me. Luckily, I was going under speed limit. So, my Mazdaspeed bumper was just banged up. However, I was able to order another one since it was from Mazda. Look into the Mazdaspeed rear. In the future, I would recommend you to finish off you car with the Mazdaspeed front and sides.

well if you want to save some money you can always fix it your self. take a hair dryer or heat gun and worm up the plastic bumper. then when the bumper is worm take you hand and push out the dent from behind the bumper. trust me it will work

Wow thanks man! that was what i wanted as well. I see it looks pretty nice, If i do get the mazdaspeed rear bumper would it come with the bumper + isnt the lower part it goes up towards? I took a look but then do i need to order Rear bumper, Bumper and components, Bumper cover, Bumper cover first? then get the RX-8 MAZDASPEED REAR UNDER SPOILER or does the ms rear under spoiler come with the stock back bumper so i dont have to worry about that? So i should have no problem fitting it in when i take it to the shop? i wonder how much long it would take for them to put it on. Does anyone have a site where they can order this part?

So im going to the shop today and hopefully they have my bumper the person said it will cost around $100-150. But usually does it come with the brilliant black paint? the guy quoted me $100 for to put on the bumper and $250 if he has to paint and put on the bumper
