good job mike

i painted mine blue with 1200 degree auto paint. i cleaned each each brake with simple green than used wire brushes.Step two use three coats of paint during each coat wait 10-15 min.Step three same process as step two but this time use clear coat. 10 bucks for everything and it looks great.I will post a pic soon but cant, beacuse i left my digi cam in NJ and im in Fl Now.

I know I need to take pics during the day on the weekend


the VHT paint is 900 degrees I went to like 5 stores and couldn't find 1200 degree paint.
Its still holding fine for now

Mike, the VHT paint will last forever. Back in '99 I painted my others cars rims with the stuff. That car has been used and abused up and down the highway and drag strip. Not one nick or imperfection in the paint to this day.

Looks good by the way. I need to find the time to do mine like that

great job on the calipers guys!

my friend did his s2k about a month ago (only one coat!) and it's holding up pretty well.

i'll be doing mine after i move...most likey with the G2 stuff.

How is your caliper paint going mikeb?

Mine is already burnt on the track - they are rated 490 C or 900F and I manage to burn them to charcoal black.

I cannot repaint them since they will not stick on - so I just left it as battle marks
