I think they are illegal...at least in this state. Other than that they look pretty good. Only other thing I would do is change the color of the center brake light so it matches.

I also do not run a front plate which is illegal. The clear plastic cover on my rear plate is also illegal. I am also known to exceed the posted speed limit every once and awhile.

Having a Steelers sticker on a car in Cleveland is probably also illegal.

The only questionable aspect would be the back-up light. I'm not sure if it's mandated to be clear/white. Besides much older cars don't have the amber turn signal in the rear like the newer ones do and they're still street legal.

Yes, the back-up light is what makes it illegal.

1) Front plate missing = Illegal
2) Plastic Cover over plate = Legal as long as the plate can be read from 50'
3) Speeding = Illegal and not condoned
4) Having a Steelers sticker in Cleveland = Legal...but suicidal :P

My background has been modifying german cars for 15 years. This is my first Japanese vehicle I have every owned. So a lot of what I will do to my ride should reflect my european background. And my opionion is that tail lights should be 1 color and that should be red. I used a guy who is well known in the VW/Audi world for tinted tail lights and they came out great.

And the car is Ti Gray not silver. Thanks for the input.

Don't you hate it when people call it Silver and not Ti Gray!
It's not my cup of tea, but at least it look clean and is a good job.

Grandfather rule, just like seatbelts. If your vehicle didnt come with them, then you dont need them.

For some reason it seems to make the tailights look larger. Now if this was on a Red or Black car it might look better.
It's just not doing anything for me. But if it makes you happy. FTW.

Of course I'm partial to Gray anyway, but those are actually growing on me!
Think you'll probably get pulled over, but we'll see.

Red rear turn signals are legal, lots of new cars have them. The G35 is one right off the top of my head. The reverse lights are a problem though. If you could mount something aftermarket for the reverse light, you could rewire both the 7440 bulbs in the taillight as signals for double the light output.
