Rotary Accents?

I have my 06 RX8 (Winning Blue Metallic) for about two months now, and I would like to add the chrome rotary accents to front and rear. However, after looking around on Ebay, I see that I cannot purchase the aftermarket accents from the same seller. It appears that RX8Strakes on has the rear rotary accent piece. I would like to the front and the rear from the same place so I am sure they will match. Any suggestions on where I can buy these from? Thanks for any help.

Why not get them from your dealer or one of the Mazda parts websites here? (They're not chrome, though.)

Well...

Because I'm not paying $70 for the rear rotary accent! That is ridiculous! I can get both parts aftermarket for about that price.

RX8strakes does have both, but in painted plastic - not metal. I bought the plastic ones and I think they look OK. They were $35 each so if they get banged-up I'll consider buying something else.

hmm...

Are the aluminum pieces worth it? I have seen them on cars and they are actually polished, so they look chrome. I can't believe the plastic aftermarket pieces aren't available in chrome. They have that chrome plating for plastic these days, that looks pretty good. How do the stock aluminum accents install. I'm looking at possibly buying them from onlinemazdaparts.com as they are a bit cheaper.

Check out www.Mazdaparts.com they support your forum and the prices are competitive

The parts are good quality metal.

Without them it looks like something is missing

The accents are attached using mounting tape.
