I was thinking about doing that about 4 yrs ago when a friend was talking about taking his off his 7. I went with the GTO wing instead.

The link in my post is the english translation of the Japanese guy that actually did it. It looks like he had to shave parts to fit the contours of the 8. It also appears that it's for sale.

a dremel, scratch that... with enough time... a piece of 60 grit sandpaper and a USDM spoiler would be cheaper than the shipping from Japan.

I loved my R1. That wing should stay on the R1. It looks like a bucket full of ******** on the 8.
