I've heard of that... He may be the one running that or selling on the site, but I'm not sure. I bought mine off eBay for just over $100 I think.

The instructions that come with Howard's strakes aren't the greatest...

There's a DIY on here that is much better

Agree that Howard's weren't great, but I read it a couple times and used common sense and it wasn't that hard.

I have Howard's strakes too. I tried to follow his directions on strake placement in the grills, but you had to assume they sit right next to the solid plastic rib. Other than that confusion, the strakes weren't difficult to install, and they are still looking great!

I don't see his ad up there right now.

You can tell which the stainless are because the price is listed in GBP as like 65 pounds or so, and his pictures are of his strakes on a winning blue

IMO the satin finish aluminum (OEM) look better than shiny stainless steel.

Hello,

I installed yesterday my red strakes that I received from www.RX8Strakes.com. I must say that the quality is very good. He used the OEM strakes as masters for the molds, they are perfect copies. I must also say that the communication with Dave is very easy. I always replied promptly and with complete answers.

I strongly recommend doing business with him, trust me you won't be disappointed.

Sorry my pictures were taken at night, they are a little bit dark.

I got mine yesterday, and all I can tell you is that I've never seen such a good quality replica, perfect color, perfect fit, perfect packaging. Not bad at all, and I only paid $55 shipped to my house.

I'm still up in the air about painted strakes. Isn't the whole idea to make them stand out? I really like the polished strakes.
