I got my strakes from Howard today, no confirmation email or anything, but they came in the mail about 11 days after I ordered. They are sweet-looking and very high quality stainless steel.

I just got mine, but not installed yet. Arrived 50 hours after I paid on ebay. They should be in a rock-free location on the car, so not much chip risk. Were yours chipped when you got them?
The color match is great. The paint surface is a little rougher than I would have liked, but not bad. I hope I can get them on later today.

Thumbs up thumbs up for RX8strakes

I emailed Dave from RX8strakes because the finish on my strakes was a little rough and they chipped at the edges with install. He graciously offered to redo them and they came out great! I got the new set on and love them! Dave was great to deal with.

First let me say that your avatar rocks!
Thanks for sharing your positive experience on your eBay purchase...
I've bid on his auctions a few times but always got sniped... Guess I should do a BINow....

Thumbs up painted strakes

I recently installed a set of Nordic Green strakes from rx8strakes.com. Excellent quality and color match with well written instructions. I think they look even better on the lighter colors, but still prefer them to the Mazda strakes (and they cost a lot less). :D

I received mine from RX8strakes last week and installed them with my clear corners pretty quickly... I do agree the mold is great, instructions are easy and the packaging was good but I really wasn't that impressed with the paint. There were a couple of chips and it still smelled heavily like they weren't allowed to dry properly. All in all I'm happy and I'm just going to have the dealership give them a spray when I have a couple of chips touched up on my fender this Friday.

I ordered a set of stainless strakes from Howard yesterday. Received a confrimation e-mail from him that they had been shipped. Cost with shipping about $117.00 US. Looking forward to installing them on my Sunshine silver sake sipper.
