nah, ended up finding a set of 19 inch Hiros, staggered w/tires (500 bucks and OEM swap) ...and will probably just go get them powder coated gold.

as for your hood. You'll probably find out that the look will be dependent on the coloring of the mesh. I recall when Mikeb first got his hood, the grey mesh didn't work on his ride. He had the mesh painted black and it looked good for his application. For you, I would think the grey mesh would look better on yours. I'm anxious to see the pics.

How would material make a difference on the color. It will turn out the same exact color except that it will have a little different shimmer once the sun hits it.

Stewy - Im thinking about changing my rear spoiler to CF....that would probably compliment the CF hood nicely...

I will keep you posted...

Only way I would change my shinka spoiler is if they had one that used the factory holes. Does anyone know if there is a replacement as such??

OK!!
Ive decided to get a CF spoiler to compliment the CF hood....Ive found 2 excellent alternatives

1.MS type CF from rotary extreme $400.00
2. CF lip spoiler (listed in the group buy section) $230.00

your thoughts????
I cant figure out which would look best....Ive got the OEM on it now....

CF lip spoiler won't cover the factory wing holes. So, you'll need to visit the body shop to have your trunk holes covered and painted. May think about getting the badges shaved at the same time.

MS type CF from rotary extreme. I've heard some bad things about the fitment on that wing. This is the one that comes as one piece right? Compared to the true MS wing which has a lower portion and wing portion which are separate peices. This wing will use the stock mounting holes, but you may end up with the scratches that i found when I did the same replacement. My OEM wing left scratches on my trunk which were not covered by the lower portion of the MS wing.

the pics for the rotary extreme are 2 pieces connected by the braces...the bottom piece looks like it would definitely cover the existing holes...
do you like your MS wing???
do you think it would look good with an appearance pkg?

MS wing, along with the front bumper make the biggest impact on the look of the car. One of the guys in our San Bernardino group has the appearance package with the wing. Let me see if I can find one of his pictures where he has our cars side by side.

I love the way the MS wing looks. I love it. Since I have purchased mine, two other people who have seen it, have gone out and bought it.

Let me go find that picture. I think it will provide the most help for you.

For some reason, the pics are not showing up in his thread

here is one pic I have on my computer from the calendar that we made.

The second pic is of Taka. He has the same setup...MS wing and appearance package.

I have tons of pics of my car, just let me know what view you want to see and I can put some up.

Have you seen this recent thread?

I know I have read others...this one is just starting, so you may want to keep track of the comments on this one to make sure you want to go forward with the CF wing.

to each his own Umbra.....but you really dont get the true look of the rims in the photo....

they are a must see in person....the bronze on the rims is very complimentary to the black cherry!
