Shine Auto Body kits

Hey everyone, I am interested in getting a new kit and I have heard a lot of good things about fitment and customer service with this company. When I go to their website www.shineautoproject.com I get sent to this Forum. Is this legit? Also, is there any other place that I can get a kit from them on a different website that I am not seeing? Thanks for your help guys.

Shine does all their business through an Ebay store. You can find all their offerings there.

Not exactly. They have had a group buy here and they are a vendor at rx7club and sell lots of kits to their members. I'm sure they sell a lot on ebay and other boards as well.

The forum link is actually an improvement. For a long time that just led to a 'Under Construction' front page.

Out of all the US companies that make knockoffs they're arguably the best. But they're still knockoffs.

EDIT: Looks like the link to their forum is a FAIL link. Heh.

They have a really good rep here and on several other forums, I have the authentic CF Burnout chin spoiler, but plan on getting the rest of the kit through shine just for cost reasons...

the fitment on their copied autobahn is a little off around the side markers, and the finish is notorious for pits, pinholes and scratches, which they claim are normal but adds to the cost of the install.. I would go with authentic or polyurethane according to their ebay account nobody has left reviews for the entire month of december.. a sign of caution.

The have 100% feedback on 400+ items sold. IMO that is more telling then no feedback in the month of December.

Well I'll be either going with this lip kit that Shine makes, or a Vertex/Varus conglomeration.

I got the Auto Spec Aero kit. Like Rx8mod said, "the fitment is a little off around the side markers". Nothing a little Dremel cant do. But other than that, the fitment was great. Very satisfied. Just sanded and primed all the imperfections. Now waiting to get it to the shop.
