Side mirror turn signals

Hi,

I have my puddle lights but I came across this...

EBay item do a search for:

03-05 MAZDA RX-8 RX8 SLR LED SIGNAL POWER SIDE MIRROR
(I didn't want to break the rules with a direct link)

For the price it seemed like a nice and easy mod. Anyone try these yet? If so did they fit like the OEM ones?

TIA,

Brian

I would think it would be pretty easy to put an SMT LED behind the mirror on each side and run the wires to the turn signal wires... probably cost 10 bucks or less total.

45 bucks incl. shipping for a pair of turn signal mirrors? Hm... I'm not sure I'd buy them. You get what you pay for... for this amount, I doubt they'd be motorized or heated. They look pretty small too.

Now if there'd be a way to somehow modify the stock mirror cover or get OEM-quality replacement covers incorporating a turn signal, that'd be more interesting.

^ i agree, you get what you pay for. Plus who knows if they even fit properly. You could be buying a cheap universal side mirror, which most likely is the case.
