Single Exhaust Outlet Rear Bumper?

Has anyone seen or heard off a single outlet exhaust rear bumper? I'm curious to have one match up to the new forthcoming RB single outlet exhaust. Looks like it needs to be on the passenger side.

none have ever been made

the only alternative to the dual tip design is Auto-Bahn Sports and Ab-flug which are quad's

the single tip doesn't match the rx8 at all imo. its more of an RX-7 thing. personally im going quad

Yeah, I thought there was none. I was thinking that it would look rather cool, but maybe not. I really like the weight reduction of that exhaust.

it still looks too heavy to me, but then their std exhaust offers no real weight savings

its a single muffler design too

extra heavy

i like the big HKS carbon ti look

i want a custom fabbed dual carbon ti can setup on an FD that i dont have haha i bet that would look cool with an RE Amemiya Pro Diffuser or Kenstyle carbon fiber diffuser

I hate the dual look, I think it is more of a V8 look. I would love a single with a big tip, and make a block off for the other side.

^ We don't need a dual tip either. I like that big down firing single tip in the photo.

They claim 34% lighter than stock, but I like your photos. How does that perform?

here u go
i know this wasnt what u were looking for but yah...

uhmm I doubt RB will make a new rear bumper due to the fact that the market just isnt there. They dont plan on mass producing this single outlet exhaust like they are doing with their dual exhaust

I wonder how much a rear bumper cover would cost? Maybe I'll get one and have it customized at my fav body shop...

that lower center section is integral to the entire bumper cover, once you cut it like that the bumper cover is basically junk

true teamrx8, so you would need to get a whole new bumper if you messed up

Thats what I meant - a whole cover to work with. I PM'd Mazmart to see if they have one.

either that or if you ever want to go back, once you cut the hole there's no going back, you also need to take precautions to keep the exhaust heat from melting the surrounding plastic, there's a reason Mazda put so much clearance between the muffler tips and the plastic surrounds

you'd be surprised how much longer the exhaust system grows when it's at max temperature

You're better off just getting the jic titaniam exhaust then the rb one and a bumper.....

you don't need a bumper with the RB single tip exhaust, it exits out one of the factory exhaust openings

the bumper mod is only for running a pipe straight out the back, IMO it's not worth the bumpercover over a couple of tubing elbows but to each their own ...

he has to shell out way more cash for titanium even though it doesn't look nice, but it's probably a whole lot more affordable than a titanium. OT saw some titanium lugs for 500 bucks the other day lol, what people pay to say a few pounds.

A few pounds here, a few pounds there and a person is saving 100lbs.

If the car weighs 3,000lbs and dynos at 200hp a reduction of 100lbs would be the equivalent of adding 6.67hp

It makes a difference on acceleration and saves a bit on gas mileage.

I am taking the cheap approach to weight reduction, going on a diet.
(can't see saving 100lbs though maybe 15-20).

Does titanium exhaust sound any different?
