Just looking for some opinions guys

I'd be getting the urethane MS style front bumper and sideskirts and i will be body color matching the gray trim on the rear bumper.

Should i :

1) get a RE CF MS style spoiler

2) get a replica INGS spoiler (just to be different since god knows how many MS rx8 there is out there)


Would the INGS spoiler flow with the MS kit?


Any comments is greatly appreciated.

That INGS spoiler does not look good at all from the side...as though a lump of something was just stuck to the back of the car. If you must go with a big lip spoiler, I'd go with Mintblue, where it's at least lifted off the rear, and it also has a thinner profile.

Have you checked out the Racing Beat spoiler? IMO its the cleanest looking one I have seen, I am not really into the huge pedestal style.

I like the MS style wing better.

 

it really comes down to taste. If you want something more sedate looking go for the ings wing, but if you want something more aggressive go with the MS wing.

 

how much is the FB mintblue wing anyways?

the replica INGS spoiler is relatively cheap....its only around 330 PAINTED!

and remember i will only have the body color matched rear bumper plastic trim and at the most a set of rear aero flares..... wouldnt the Mintblue spoiler be a lil bit too agressive?

I've seen all the wings in person.. so far..

The Racing beat is more like the "G35" style wing. It's not overdone, but has a tiny gap on each side. Plus - Affordable.

The Mint Blue is more aggressive. Sticks out more than the Racing beat or the Ings+1. It's similar also to the G35 style wing. Plus - Unique, wont see many 8s with this wing... Negative - Kinda expensive.

The Ings+1 covers around all corners of the car, so it's not like the G35 wing, more like a lip of the old Dodge Vipers. Subtle, but if you are going for more aggressive, go with the other two. Plus - Also pretty rare, I've yet to see another person with this wing, whether replica or the real deal. Negative - Real deal is expensive, Cheapy one is affordable. Looks the same to me... oh wells, that's what I get to be a frontrunner.

The MS Wing looks good if you have the rest of the kit, otherwise it looks out of place. This is definitely the most aggressive wing... and the two major drawback for this wing is that people "can" steal it from the base of the wing, and it blocks the view of the driver somewhat.

I'll try and take more pic from all sides of the wing for your perusal.

Personally... I'd be between the RB wing and the OEM style lip (which Leg Motorsports also makes).

One thought I've had is that if you aren't going to go with the MS rear, then you will need a beefy spoiler to balance the "weight" of the car. The rest of the MS kit (front and skirts) make the car a bit beefier and because of that IMHO the rear needs something beefy to balance it out... MS rear, INGS spoiler, MS spoiler... maybe RB is the better choice (over OEM lip)...
