Starting to worry, Japan-Parts rip me off?

Well, I ordered off ebay the clear corners from Japan-Parts for $56 which about everyone else has been doing the same. I made this order/payed through PayPal on the 18th of March.

Now I know that it is coming from Japan, so I was not really worried and thought it would take around a week or so to get here which is about how long the others said it took them. It's been 10 days since I ordered (8 delivery days) and I have yet to receive any emails or anything from them. I e-mailed them two days ago and still no answer from them. I checked on ebay and they have stopped selling the clear corners or anything else and I'm starting to worry about what is going on.

I will probably wait until the end of this week and then if I don't receive any emails or clear corners, what do you think I should do? If anyone could help clear up what is happening, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

When you say the "japs" that's a derogatory term... becareful when you use it like that. Even though we know what you're talking about, you could offend the Japanese people that read this forum.

Try using the "N" word to a black person and you'll see what I mean.

I think I ordered my clear corners from them too and it took a little while, but I got them. I'd just be patient.

Mine took about 8 days from the time I ordered.. never received an email however they did show up..

ONe thing to note, they are shipped (at least mine were) via US Postal service , registered mail I think as I had to sign for delievery... so the hold up might simply be US due to holiday mail delivery.

Japan parts in eBay is the same as japanparts.com?

It is very hard to say if it is the same person. Koji is the part manager of the Japanparts.com, but he does not reply all emails since he said there are thousands to go throught each day. He reply mine 8pm on a Saturday night.... ! They are working too hard and I think...

I think you can report that to eBay and find out their registered email. If they are really from japanparts.com. You can email contacts@japanparts.com.

I have order 4-5 times from them and had only ONE minor problem that solved with one email.

BTW I think EZZY is just lazy in typing... so stay cool.

It took me 5 days to get my clear corners from japan parts. So you might try emailing them again to see if they may have lost the order or something.

When I was looking for clear corners, Rotary extreme sells them for 70-80 bucks + tax + drive to fremont or japan parts for $57 dollars no s/h and no tax. HMM..tough choice

Hardhitter, glad you have it sorted.

Trumagellen, They are usually reliable on their main site.

I think there should be another person to do the ebay site. There are not many English speaking Japanese likes to do Japanparts... there are simply too many Yen out there in the corp world.

I deal with Koji san who is the parts manager. He is in stress getting the orders right (and working long weekends) and I think yes, if you want next day delivery or you can get the same products somewhere local. Go for it.

If you want to find something that Japan only, you have to go though an agent like japanparts and expect a delay but thing will be done.

BTW I have received the Odula RAM intake from the japanparts. I will post something next week when I install it including a DIY.

truemagellen, we have no record of ever having sold you anything, let alone having messed an Order up
A simple email would have got you an immediate response from us at www.japanparts.com
We DON'T sell on Ebay under the moniker "JapanParts" or "Japanparts.com", we do sell as japanparts-in-tokyo, Power Sellers with currently 900+ feedbacks with a total of 4 negs since Feb, 1999; a sure sign of a "mess" (!)

I would suggest your posting is inaccurate, defamatory and untrue

Matt at Mazdaparts.com says he's knows you, and many of your posting here recommend him; suggest Matt will provide a reference for us if you need a 2nd opinion

If you are correct, a fact I sincerely doubt, and we have goofed by supplying you the wrong parts (highly unlikely), we will absolutely and unquestionably "make it good"

If you have targeted us in error; we ask that you do the same

There was a reason Graham couldn't find my order, because it was placed for my girlfriend's Mazda3 and my username was not connected to my paypal account.

I emailed graham and he responed within I kid you not, 1min!!!! :D from Japan!

He gave me a full refund for the part...and we are now on good terms

In fact I will be deleting my intial post and hope to do business with Graham and Japan Parts in the future.

Good.. cause i was about to Kick some Butt

Jason ( truemagellen ) and JapanPArts are both very good Peeps.. I knew this was a simple misunderstanding.

And it just goes to show that all you really need to do is ask..

MazdaParts.com and JapanParts are working as a team to bring you the best products at the best price.. just ask us..

But be sure we know who you are.. Screen names are the killer.. I get confused 4 times a day by a screen name.
