Stock spoiler on carbonfiber trunk

Im looking do do some minor body work to my silver 8. im not huge into body kits but im really considering just going with the carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber truck and carbon fiber lip kit. But with the carbon fiber trunk i have the idea of putting my stock spoiler on it i think that would look pretty cool. I have already seen the threads about which trunks to get and every thing like that i just wanted opinions on this idea. if it would look good or not.

Hmmmm, hadn't really thought of that before. I think it would blend the colors nicely but would have to see a pic before doing it. Maybe someone on here has done it or will photoshop it for you.

Yea i thought of photoshoping it but i would need someone to do that for me. But things look different in photos then in person but it would give me the best idea of what it would look like. i seen it on a WRX a little while back that gave me the idea of doing that it looked very nice. i think it would look good on the 8.

i think it wouldent look right, try going a cf spoiler on cf trunk. I had a cf lip spoiler on my OEM trunk and it looked really bad so i had it painted. But now that i got a cf hood i might swap out to a cf trunk with cf ms spoiler

i think it sounds ugly, unless it was a bb spoiler on carbon fiber. i think silver would stand out too much and look bad...

i'm not a photoshop wizard, but i can try ... if you post a pic of your silver 8 i can try to get the trunk looking like carbon fiber, or post a pic of the cf trunk you want too...

what about a carbon fiber lip spoiler? i'm not a big fan of the stock spoiler in the first place and the idea of it in silver on carbon fiber just doesn't sit right.

I would look into the Autoexe Trunk If I were You... It's a carbonfiber Trunk/Lip combo. I'd point you to the group buy CF Trunk probably a dozen posts down, but if you read the last page you will notice that may not be a good idea...

Yeah, look for other spoilers other than the OEM one. It would look much better if you could go CF for both spoiler and trunk.

carbonfiber spoiler and trunk is a really nice set up in my opinion. Thats what i will most likely go with but this was just an idea of something different.
