Thinking about getting RE Amemiya kit

Hello
I'm thinking about adding some body kits on my baby.
I've looked through some and RE Amemiya front bumper looks very nice to me,
and as far as I understand I have to order it from Japan to US

Anybody has this kits?
Can somebody give me some tips of how I should order
Can I also get the color matched with my silver?

Any other suggestions of body kits??
thanks

www.mazdaparts.com should be able to get this for you if you PM thew.

You would need to take the body kit to a body shop for it to be matched with your car.

I would also recommend the MazdaSPEED body kit. It's sexy and fitment is PERFECT. Trust me I know.

There's not too many people out there with the kit. I've only seen one person with it.

Don't do Mazdaspeed...unless you can get the newer one..which i doubt is even public for purchase..MS is SOOOOO played out...

You're going in the right direction...get the RE Amemiya...i think 1 other person has that kit..

i personally think mazdaspeed kit is the best looking one out there right now, and you'll have no problems with fitment. RE is good looking too, that would definetly be my second choice, the only thing is that it reminds me a bit of a toyota celica (90's celica)

RE is a nice kit, but im warning you... I got my INGS Hybrid Aero from japan, and MAN was it DAMN expensive to ship here.

In the end, all worth it though, MS is way too played out.

the MS kit is only "played out" if you're buying it to just impress others, including other men on the internet.
Get if you like it. The RE one is also nice. Can't go wrong with either

I agree with BigO, most people go for the MS kit because of perfect fitment, warranty, and strong material. That is, if you get the authentic. Going with a different kit that not many people have is for impressing.

Nothing but respect for the MS kit. But, it's becoming the black widow kit of the 8. You know, almost EVERY civic you see has a black widow kit. I hate to say it, but it's true.

I REALLY want the Knight Sports kit, but $$$$$$$$$$$$$$. And for that amount, if I so much as scape it ....

By the way, Titanium RX, where did you get your mint blue front? I've only seen it at one place and they want some grip$$$.

I'm not thinking about getting it just to impress others.
I want something that would affect the car's performance if it's possible.

I'm not thinking aobut Turbo just yet but just the little things.
maybe widebody kit that would work with airflow and also the car's uniqueness.

to be honest, Mazdaspeed just looks little plain

I'd love to get that front, but I'd have to get the one without the fogs. Just not my thing.

FYI any decent body shop can cover the foglights with fiberglass and make it look like it never had one in the first place. Its not that hard, which is why RE decided to make to front ends with and without the fog lights. Personally, I think it looks sleeker without the fog lights, however, having bluish/while HIDS as headlights, and Yellow HIDS as the foglights look really bitchin at night and great for canyon racing as wll. Just depends on if you want a sleek sleeper look or race/rally type RX-8.

P.S. My kit is still for sale btw :P

Did you have any fitment issues with the front bumper? I've seen that you can order it prepainted, does that mean it fits perfectly? Do you have to remove the factory fog lights to hook up the fogs in the bumper?
