went on my first meet today and saw an awesome 8 with an "RX8" inlay in the 3rd brake light.....can anyone tell me where I can get one?

 

Dmanec7 on the board makes them. i think you can find it in the vendor forum under DLS customs.

Is the dls custom third brake light a sticker or is it a replacement of the third brake light?

 

I believe it is an insert. I made one on a laser printer using transparency paper. One sheet is too thin so you need to double it up. Use whatever font you prefer, cut it to size, and slide it into the tail light piece. Check the DIY forum.

 

It looks totally awesome when your driving right behing you.....Tammi hooked me up with Polak's graphics....I ordered one there.....

However...nah, it isn't worth it.

 

These 3rd brake light masks are very easy to make. I made this one within 1 hour and it can only be seen when the brake pedal is applied. No stickers to worry about. Another thing is you can make any design you want and not have to stick with the limited available designs. I am not knocking anyones efforts, just giving other options in the spirit of sharing information. Take a look at the 3rd brake light pic located at the thread link below.
