the problem with using specific veilside pieces it overpowers the others if you do one veilside you need to do it full veilside.

this setup looks very nice

i praise you for not making another mazdaspeed clone! the tsunami bumper looks killer and the ings pieces match it great. M1 did a great job and it looks really clean! time for some bronze or black rims now!

I have honestly been considering bronze rims, but I am afraid that it would limit me too much with any accents. Anything else in a silver or chrome would look out of place don't you think? I am honestly looking for any input here.....

If you are thinking about putting the greddy lip on the rear, lowering it would really accent the linearity of it. I like the smaller rear lips (spoliers) rather then the larger especially since the front bumper is not as agressive as the vielside. NICE JOB!
Thanks Loren - not looking to lower it. Being a daily driver and all I would like to have a "worry free" vehicle that looks damn sexy. I have also spoken to a few (not all - just a few) who have complained about handling while really pushing the car after lowering it. That would just mean more time and money in stablizer bars and such.......not ready for that........yet :o

snow... did you buy this from a forum member, vendor, or tsunami themselves? mind sharing how much you paid?
I got the bumper through ShowandDrift.com. However, it was a used one that they cut for the red 8 and never ended up using. Ended up paying $400 since it was used and pre-shaved (for an intercooler i believe?). There are a few places selling them for 649 brand new.

funny - I was looking at black rims too! Still can't decide what I want. Such a big decision. And it seems like they are coming out with a really cool new rim every month right now! DAMN THEM!!!! :D :D

Did you ever take any photos of your car. I remember you saying you were done with your kit a long time ago, but I don't remember seeing it.

Anyone familiar with the legality of not having side markers in Texas? I really like this kit, but I already don't have a front plate, and I don't want any more anxiety if side markes are required.

Snowfl8k....I recommend black/polish lip or hyper black rims...maybe 19" stagger.
BTW your RX-8 is super clean looking. Happy shopping for your rims. Visit www.hookupshop.com to browse for selection.

Actually, The bumper was 1 of 2 that were the first tto come out of the mold. The first impressions usually have flaws being that there are air bubbles that we need to find and get rid of to make ready for production. One of the two was used to test fit on our 8 and the other one was never touched. That is why I sold them so cheap. Glad you are happy with your kit.

P.S. Both bumpers I had are sold, incase anyone is wondering.

Vince
