Looking good. My bodyshop has used the Ford Titanium Grey paint on all my plastic bits and the match is PERFECT - better than stock. If you look at stock titanium front and rear they are slighlty darker than the bodywork.
Agree with getting the grill painted matt black. I had my INGs grills silver for a bit, but much prefer in black.

Umbra... if I was gunna paint the hood I would have saved myself $220 and bought a PRF hood instead of CF, I like it unpainted.
As for naysayers against the grill, untill I get the time or bravery to pull my front bumper off theyre staying alum. It matches the rims, fuel door and strakes for now so i doesnt look to out of place. Ill get around to it though.

No fogs... I never turned them on to begin with, didnt bother with the rewire, and its one less thing to worry about in my mind. Plus, I dont plan on driving thru the everglades any time soon :P

Yes, the purpose is weight reduction, and even more importantly increased airflow, but I like the look of CF, especially this weave, its very tight.
The hood is insainly light, fits perfectly, and looks great in person. Im not sure of the actual weight loss, but Im sure its a couple of pounds.
Not to step on your toes, but painting the hood would make it heavier, negating the ultiamte goal of weight loss, so that doesnt totally jive. I know there will be people that dont like the bare CF look, but I dont care, I do and its my ride, and thats all that really matters, right?

Just want to let you know about the color thing...when I got my front lip painted, I used the paint color code 29Y for my Titanium. After it was painted, it looked great...but when placed up to my car, it looked different. In fact, it turns out that the 29Y color matched the bottom edging of the Mazdaspeed side skirts. After doing a lot more research, I found out that the color should have been 31Y for poly material.
So now, I have a slightly off color on my front lip. Can't tell during the night and the layman won't be able to see it. But since I know that it's wrong, it stands out like black and white. I'm going to need to get it repainted...that is, after the custom clear bra is removed...grr!!

I guess I'm the only one who thinks the hood looks awful... And I'm not talking about the color. I hope the reason is like you said, the pics don't do it justice.
I'm not crazy about the largemouth bass-look of the new bumper cap, either.

I like the overall design of the Tsunami kit, the only thing i HATE about it is that it gets rid of the corners, which in my opinion leaves the front end looking naked. But I definitely like the veilside hood, does it come with a rain gutter underneath or is it open to the engine?

Its open to the engine, Im having to be careful with all the rain we've been seing in Miami recently. The hood is stunning in person, but if you dont like it in pics at all, then IDK if seeing it would change your mind... I love the hood, and I love the Tsunami front end, Ive done exactly what I planned with the front end and Im extremely pleased with the results.
