Incorrect.. You still have to cut the Mazdaspeed rear bumper.. Not perfect, bolt on kit.. Granted Mazda speed is as good as it gets, but its also made by Mazda, it better fit right on with no problems.

not that i'm saying all veilsides are ugly but most are. just like not everyone with an MS kit looks good.

that said, i think your car would be a good example of an acceptable one

1. We just moved. We spent the last 2 weeks taking the old place apart and moving everything to the new place. We are still getting set up.

2. We JUST got our urethane shipment. There is a bunch of RX8 urethane stuff in stock now.

3. Customs - yeah 3 days would be nice.... But, that isn't always the case.

how hard is the the front clip to put on, is it just as bad as the rear. i assume that the side skirts are a piece of cake.

the front clip will need to be shaved and molded a bit near the corners for a perfect fit....the skirts were perfect for me and the rear i just bought was already fitted......but i would not try this myself unless i had some autobody experience.....keep in mind the d1gt is fiberglass and results will vary a bit.....

when you say shaved and molded what do you mean. do you mean what i think you mean by sanding and cutting and then using bondo.

Well I got the call today from Veilside, my kit is in. It will be in my garage by the middle of next week. I'll have in the shop by next weekend , I figure. One thing is that I will not do it on my own , after spending that money i want a good job. Theres no way I will touch it.

Yesssss, I will be boxing it up today.

with ANY fiberglass kit, I would say that at least SOME sanding/work needs to be done. Two are never going to be the same just for the simple fact that the gel coat will never cure exactly alike.

It is when you go with the counterfit companies that you REALLY need to work on the parts a LOT.

im sure its already noted elsewhere in this thread but... there are some that are DAMN close. MS is perfect fit and birect bolt on with exception of cutting for the rear diffuser... and there are a couple of jDm kits that are/were offered as OEM options over there that are perfect fit so they say...

For anyone who has the vented hood:

1) Does it help lower engine temps?
2) How's the fitment for both types (CF and FRP)?

Thanks.

That it has.. DAMN close though, isnt perfect, but I also understand there will never be any perfect, minus the MS kit & thats cause its made by Mazda, and as I said about that, it better damn well be.
