Vinyl color on yellow 8
Alright guys, im having a tough time deciding what color vinyl to use on my lightning yellow 8.
Before i get flamed for wanting vinyl please let me explain why.
On the windshield ive got to put www.carxpressions.com because i manage the site and it pays for all the shows/race/car related events i go to. I dont know what color i could do on the windshield that would look good.
On the sides (appearance package side skirts) im putting www.lexistreets.com because that is the site i own and i need to promote it locally. Im thinking of doing black but dont know yet.
Once i get my sponsors i will also have to do a small roll call somewhere but i dont know where. I jsut dont know what color to use. Any ideas?

Londons Yellow Peril
the yellow never photographs well. it always looks better in real life.
Unless you have tons of lights. Mine looked awesome parked under a garage forecourt at night in some pics.

Anyone wanting to decide on Vinyls should just invest in a copy of NFSU2, play long enough to get the Rx-8, and go to town with Colors, that's how I decided what wheel and caliper colors would work with my blue one, and started playing with vinyl ideas as well. It's really the best place to experiment.
I have been trying to talk EA into marketing their mod setup and dyno in NFSU as a separate piece of stand-alone software and license real body kits for the cars, set it up online so that people get download upgrades from the shops that want to offer them. Stuff like that. would make that whole "will someone photoshop this for me" a thing of the past.
Steer away from Red... you don't want a McDonalds RX-8. I like gloss-black vinyls with reflective gunmetal accents on Yellow. It looks awesome.

$.02=Yellow on the windshield and black on the body.
I agree it's hard to get pics of LY in bright light. It just washes out the details. Morning or evening sun work the best. I find silver the opposite: photographs beautifully but not as eye-catching in person.

i'd say do all the vinyl in a winning blue color. just my opinion but i like to try to keep everything close to the same color and if i have to use a secondary color, then i just try to stick to one.

"And blue is gaining fast. "There is a whole trend in blue and purple," says Webb. Of the 21 new shades his company is currently developing, "at least half are blue or have some evidence of blue in them."
