i am thnking of buying lambo door just wondring who makes the best lambo door for rx-8 ?

 

GT factory is pretty good, but if you wanna be really cool, get an Auto-Loc automatic lambo door kit

Well, if you want to fit it directly to the RX8, you'll want a Jalpa, Espada, Muira or LM-002; the latter is an SUV. You might find the doors from their tractors also fit.

If you want something to decorate your house, I've always felt the Countach door has the most appealing shape.

I have a "Lambo" door conversion on my RX8, the front doors work exactly the same as the £100,000 Gallardo!

Maybe you want a Sera door conversion. Make your RX8 look like a £3,000 Japanese commuter bubble-car.

i like how on the auto-loc website even the video they provide makes their doors look like sh*t.
You think they would at least try to not make it look so wobbly. They could probably have done a better job faking it if the guy opening the door weighed more than 100 lbs.

but i like lambo doors (guilty pleasure). If i got a kit for free... i'ld do it, but for about $1600... i'd rather get a Big Brake Kit.

I know :D But, for all the exotic looks (no other car has those doors AND the glass - the door mechanism was copied for the McLaren F1, Ferrari Enzo etc., but they have a roof instead of a glass roof and T-bar), it is only a 1.5 16v engine, FWD, and basically a Paseo/Starlet.

They also cost less than a decent lambo door conversion, and don't look crap - you open the doors with one movement (actually, you unlatch them and lift slightly, and they open themselves the rest of the way when they work right - these cars are now 10-15 years old, so many need the strut mechanisms replacing).

 

lambo doors look ugleeeyyy on the 8!

i think lambos are kind of cool, but i agree with the money aspect. Not worth it yet for me.

Gr8Rx8 - sure, your doors look very cool, I'm sure they're well engineered, but every ricer and his grandad wants a set. There's no point having scissor doors to be different, when it's on the "ricer" catalogue right after "big shiny exhaust pipes" and "multiple car company logos on my door even though my car doesn't have anything from those firms and I paid for them to advertise by buying their stickers".

And, it looks kinda like a Transformer that someone forgot to finish transforming

There are cars which suit them less than the RX8 does. I feel vaguely sick when I see Chrysler 300Cs with them. And I'm not going to be afraid to say yours aren't to my taste but don't look bad, when I'd be happy to say to Snoop Dogg that his 300C looks like fresh Yak turds covered with dog vomit with them on.
