What is the expected price of paint/install on a good fitting bodykit?

For example I'm specifically talking about the Autoshine Autobahn front and side skirts, I heard they have a pretty good fitment but when it comes to the whole price for a good body shop to paint/install it. I honestly have no clue how much it would cost, This is my first time ever even thinking about something like this so I really don't know, Of course a search for the "price of install/paint for bodykit" turned up absolutely nothing. I just don't want to get ripped off and want to know what a guestimate price I should get is.

it all depends on the body shop itself. when i got my body kit done i went to 2 places for quotes. place 1 quoted between $3000-$4000 and place 2 quoted $600-$700

general rule of thumb is usually 250-400 per corner and thats if there is no adjustment to fit.....once you get into fit issues the price multiplies exponentially

When i had my 93 mazda mx6, I put the full Inavder kit on with my dad and then i took it to maaco and the painted the whole car for about 800. With my last car, 92 prelude, i put the kit on and my dad painted himself. It cost about 900 for him to paint it. It cost that much for all the paint and supplies.

wow, did Macco actually do a good job? I've yet to hear anyone satisfied with work done by them. I'm kind of surprised to hear that Macco charged you that much.
If you check around and get some different quotes, $900 should get you a body kit paint job and install at a decent body shop just as long as the kit is decent quality.

I spend 800.00 on mine , all around , front ,side and bumper. The fitment was'nt an issue, fit perfectly . Do some shopping around because I was quoted at one place 2,000.00 and another 1500,00 hundred. I took one day and went around looking at different places that I had pick out.

Good Luck..................

I would never go to MAACO unless it was something small and not too noticeable. I am going to hit the yellowpages after I get to that point.

The paint job was good. They did have a few over spray spots, such as spray a little bit over rubber around my sunroof or a little bit on one of my front lights. I put the kit on my self. I bolted the front bumber and molded the side skirts and back bumber. My did all of the fiberglass work for the molding. And we preped like car by sanding the whole car down. They did tell me before the paint job that some inperfection will be seen. But it turned out good. I will find pic and post.

Not to hijack this thread, but how much do you think to install/paint a spoiler vs getting a pre-painted spoiler installed?
