What are strakes?

Mine were $109 including $20 additional charge for a custom color (not aluminum and not chrome), shipped to my door with 100% perfectly clear install instrx. It's a 15 minute job if you're slow.
One of the best buys out there for less than $100

They're well worth it at any price... they give the fender area much needed character. On the black RX-8's, I feel they're almost necessary or you don't even see the definition in the fender vents.

on smaller airplanes strakes are located in fron of the horizontal stabilizer and they increase the surface area of the hoirzontal stabilizer in order to keep the nose pitched down and prevent a flat spin in case of a stall.
