I know some of us have heard of it and some of us havent, but I want to know who has tried out the Home Depot front lip, (I am refering to the garage door bottom DIY) and dont knock it if you havnt seen it.

this is real simple to do, Go to home depot and buy a garage door bottom also pick up two rolls of heavy duty 3m tape. once you get started make sure you clean both the rubber and the bottom of your car with alcohol for maximum bond with the tape. start to apply the tape to the shorter side of the garage bottom and then start to stick to the underside of the car making sure to take your time and line it up to your liking. you can use a heat gun to move the lip around a bit. Its that easy.

i thought home depo lip was the rubber lining for the garden i have one on my fc it atcually doesnt look bad

Here is my Home Depot lip. But mine comes from the garden area, is not the one used for the house doors. Its more sturdy and thicker.

this was a long time ago that I had started this thread. The mod is cheap but even in person it looks decent. I did it because I had the ms side skirts and the front was sitting higher then the side skirts so this went on until the ms bumper was put on.
