I'd get the 35% all around I have a white 8 w/ black interior and its plenty dark, especially since our windows are pretty small not a lotta light bouncing around in there even in the daytime. Id much prefer it over limo just in back

 

Honestly, if you got 25% and the law is 35% at the lowest, I'd try to talk to the tint shop and ask them to give you a reciept that says it is 35%, when its really 25%. Sure its lying.. But do you want to keep your privacy, or pay a ticket and take it off? In any case, those cops really cant determine what the actual tint percentage is

well im trying to come the first week of april. my weekly days off are tuesday and wednesday, i may take off monday and thursday, idk about friday.. maybe. ohh no i think im taking off the saturday that week too i think.. hmm. i need to research more

A receipt saying you have 35% when you have 25% is going to do nothing except get the tint shop in trouble, most cops have a tool that can measure the percent tint you have, usually only on windows that roll down though.
And also that car does not have cut shocks, he is lowered on coilovers.

 

do you really think a cop is going to go to all that trouble to check how much tint you really got?
and are you sure? i believe cut shocks give the same sunken wheel with camber look. it was on the what not to do to your car thread after all lol.

on another note, what tint allows 70% light in? my brain has imploded trying to figure it out

 

Most the time the wont pull you over just for tint, but it only takes about 10 seconds for them to check it and yes I am sure ive had mine checked a couple times.
And yes im Positive he has coilovers. He started a thread about it.

I've been pulled over for tints I've got 15% all around (but I got away with it since the car is from Florida )

 

15% tint is exactly okay in florida with the rear sides and rear window, but you need 28% for the front? you probably just tell them you dont want your car to bleach huh? I guess the summer is the only legitimate time I can get away with my tint..

 

yeah, they dont really care about that in Florida as long as its not excessive (like 5% all around which alot of ppl have) proble is im in Missouri currently and they sure do care here lol
