Xenon bulbs
I was looking in to changing my Xenon bulbs to a higher kelvin temp. Like the PIAA D2S bulb. I was going crazy if I get thoese bulbs am I able to install them myself without problems? I got answers from my friend and the dealership that I need to have it taken care of by professionals.

Back.....
You would jack up the front, then take off the liner inside the wheel well, behind the light.
A big cover screws off the back of the headlight, then just twist out the old, and in with the new.
If you're good, and use a stubby screwdriver, about twenty minutes for both sides.

i've changed mine, first time was hard, second time was really easy, if this is ur first time doing this i would recommend taking off your tires so it would give you plenty of room to look at the headlight lock and not break it as it happened to me, just a personal tip, but other than that u should be fine.

Those bulbs will do you well, and you can do it yourself just be careful with them. DO NOT touch the bulb under any circumstances, as I hear with the HIDs if you touch the bulb you ruin it. Otherwise, use care and you can install them no problem.

I changed mine to 8000K and love 'em. I just jacked up the front end and went in through the wheel well. The first one was frustrating, however once you do it they become super easy.

ya, I'm thinking about changing my bulbs to the dark blueish color soon...
white's great n'all but I raise my HID's so that I can see everything... Sometimes it gets in other drivers eyes... I think changing to dark blue with 3/4th's the brightness would stop the other drivers from flashing their brights in my face...

Keef,
Actually a higher light color would definitely not be the solution for you if you are saying that you can't see with the OEM 4200K bulbs. The higher up the color band you go the less light output you get. Additionally, despite my 8000K lights putting out less light, I think they're pretty bright with OEM alignment. You're still going to get high beamed by oncoming traffic.
If I were you I would aim them where they were supposed to be. I've never had a problem overdriving my headlights with this car.

dude...itz easy man! you dont even have to jack up the car, just turn the wheels to the opposite direction of the one that you're working on. then take off the wheel well, and you'll see it!
