My trunk doesnt rattle I would say it vibrates(actually its the rear lights, the noise you can hear...very strange) more than anything. Until I get time I have the center rear console off to put the sound more into the cabin. What rattles is the rear deck like crazy. Im waiting for my friend who has a shop to get back in because this Texas heat sucks and I live in apt, so not the best place to be tearing out the insides of your car to install dynamat. here is initial setup.. this is phase 1..

10" Subs and amps

Amps with false floor up -- wires will disappear when I take the car back to get the box redone to have a plexiglass back so the magnets can be seen...

Focal components which will be upgraded to the KPs, and these will be moved to the rear

It hits pretty hard and I have gotten alot of compliments on how its sounds. Ive had turned up almost tall the way and still no distortion... Ive been impressed with that JBL amp and is a good bang for your buck. Everything still on the stock alt and battery and no dimming..
Head unit is stock for right now and it still sounds clean, I have an eclipse 5044 just sitting around, and after talking to forbidden i decided it wasnt the fabrication cost just for a cd player and instead will wait until I put a dvd with a screen in :o ....damn this being single leaves you with a lot of money to play with....

grrr...no...maybe next weekend...the install got postponed because of the installer had to go on business. Either way, however, I'm not sure how useful the pics would be as the set-up will be a 3" dome midrange and 1" tweet in the kicks rather than the typical 6.5" (or 5.25") midbass+tweet set-up you find in most vehicles.

Anyway...I'll get some pics when its done. They be installed in the factory kick location by modifying the factory kicks. Since I don't want to lose any of the dead pedal they'll be flush mounted which will likely require a little cutting into the wheel well behind the kick. We'll see what happens....
