2way or 3Way Infiniy Kappa speakers?
Hi guys, I'm about to purchase a set of Ininity Kappa 693.7 or 692.7 for the rears, and similar Kappas (62.7 or 63.7) for the fronts. Has anyone heard the difference in sound between the 2 and 3-way speakers. I'm also gonna get the Basslink II when there is some on eBay for sale. Right now I have the Bose in my car and want a richer sound, more higs and lows.
With the front speakers, should I bother getting the Kappas for the doors or should I just get the Infinity tweeters to replace the ones by the mirrors?
Any help would be great, thanks in advance.

I have Kappas in the front--components, reference 3 ways in the back, and Kappa Perfect 10" sub. Most people prefer their highs up front and more bass out the rear speakers--which is why I purposely didn't get Kappas for my rear deck. If you want all highs then go 3way all around, if you want more bass from the rear speakers then 2 way in the back will be sufficient.

If you have a sub DreRX8, why would you care about the lows coming through your rear speakers? They should be going through a high pass filter anyway. With that said, I'd go with the 3-ways, but remember since we have deck speakers, anything you put in there is going to sound like crap because its reflecting off of the rear window.

Hmm...after some research I think I'm going to go with Infinity KAPPA 680.7CS (6x8 +1" tweeter component speakers) up front. And Kappa 692.7 in the rears. But can't decide if I should get a custom box/sub/amp (around $650US) or the new Infinity Basslink 2 $320US (250Watts and more adjustable than the original Basslink). Also the Basslink2 takes up less room and weighs a bit less, than a box setup.
Has anyone heard the new basslink 2 sub, how does it compare to a traditional low->mid grade box/sub/amp setup.
Thanks

I've heard good things about the bass link. It is one of the most powerful all-in-one units you can buy. But still, the bass output is not going to be anything like a custom setup.
