Aftermarket Alarm System?

Aftermarket Alarm System?
Any aftermarket Alarm System owners here?
I like the Clifford g5 but i cant get the remote start or any of those cool stuff because of the keyless entry thing (which i am not complaining about... really... )
but on hot days, it would really be good if i could remote start and get some A/C kicking in the car from my office like 2 mins before I get down there.
Any advice would be appreciated...

Are you guys talking about cars equipped with the "Advanced" Key less entry with the buttons on the side? I have 04 Mazda RX-8 with a 2 Way Pager Viper alarm and everything on it works fine.

Actually, it would be very difficult actually..
for us Advanced keyless entry owners, it would not start without the key present and there are no bypass systems on the market as far as I have checked.
But I do know that want for something is all that is necessary for some rx8 owner out there to have already accomplished it
That's y we're askin...

^^ Umm not entirely true... you can start the car with the actual key that pulls out of the advance start remote without the rest of the remote anywhere near by, that's what it's there for (ie: in case the remote battery dies)

i.e. you have to be inside the vehicle to use that bypass method, so it wouldnt be a remote start solution / advanced keyless bypass.

so what you are saying is that i have to be inside my car to remote start it even though i have security chip in my key? i dont have the the advanced keyless, but all rx8s have the security chip in the key.

^^ yeah because the keyless thing either works by using the **** in conjunction with having the remote near/inside the car.
so the remote start using some aftermarket thing would not allow the car to start since none of those requirements are met

sigh...
we're definitely not on the same page here.
what i am saying is, given the advanced keyless system mazda has put on our cars, unless you disable it altogether, there wouldn't be a way of using the key's check sequence with a remote starter because the key would be too 'remote' to be detected.
a 'right-beside' starter would work but without finding the key, it wouldnt start that's straight from mazda's mouth. I am kind of trying to assess now whether or not the keyless thing is as safe as the Clifford g5 series, in which case, maybe it makes sense to disable the keyless and go with that instead.
If there is a way to use them in tandem please put your 10 yrs exp. into it and let us know.

even though the advanced system doesnt use a key to start the vehicle, you still have a key that you use in case the battery in the credit car remote dies. so even if you dont have the advanced keyless fob, you can still enter and start your car. so, you should be able to do a remote start

the thing is, it's very weird topic if you think bout it, the door button when used in conjunction with the advanced keyless will open the door, which would be a violation of any alarm system to begin with.
so i really cannot see how an aftermarket alarm can really integrate with this keyless thing, i'm leaning towards finding out if this keyless thing is really all that good because if it isnt, id jus disable the chip somehow and install a clifford g5 over it with all the features i want.
but like i said, i'm not the only one eager to find out how this is so anyone with anything tried and tested please.... let us know.

How do you do that ... I'm in Jamaica so I doubt I will be able to personally get your services.
But for the greater good of the community could you shed more light on how you achieve this...
Does it work in tandem with the keyless, did you disable the keyless....
How does it remote start when the key it requires is still in your pocket upstairs but the engine is allowed to start...
If it does, then does that speak to the security of the keyless itself, or did you disable it ?

How would this differ from any remote start where the key has a chip in it? Just use a transpoder bypass module correct? Encase your spare key in the that, run the loop up to the ignition and loop it around. Thinks the key is there at all times. Problem solved.

I have an omega by excaliber w/ remote start and the installer said while the car is running you press the button(s) to put the alarm in start mode the turn the key
off leave out of gear pull hand brake take keys with you close door press lock
button to lock doors ,press the buttone(s) to stop remote start and now the cars ready for you to remote start ... they make bypass modules for all the chips in the keys .
