Aldehyde Filter

Does the RX8 come with the aldehyde filter? Does anyone have one? Do they make a difference?

army_rx8 - internal cabin air filter

The RX-8 does not come with them, you need to go to the parts counter and buy them.. (Install them yourself.. it's VERY easy to do. See the DIY)

Ohh.. and yes they make a HUGE difference to the air (smell) quality coming into the car!

The stock air cabin filter is not aldehyde but you can buy one as a replacement ~$45 at trussville or rosenthal.

you may have installed it incorrectly

Most likley, I'm going to order it next month. I ordered my front lip spoiler to the tune of $361 and so that was my big car expenditure for the month.
