hello to all.... im am a recent buyer of a rx8 i absolutely love the car had it around 2 weeks now i am interested to know if it is possible to put this deck in my car alpine IVA-D310 i have had lil luck finding imformation on this... is it possible to put after market decks into the 8 i have seen 1 or 2 but they have had customs installs.. and where im from a lil town i dont have the resources to have that done.. i have the BOSE system any help would be nice....

 

Like you said, I don't know if anyone has found a way around this without doing something custom like I did.

 

If you can't or don't want to do a custom install, then you're out of luck. There are no "kits" or anything available to install an aftermarket stereo into the RX-8. Sorry.

i did it myself. of course, i work in a car audio shop, but i had no previous experience with this type of work.

 

It can be done and there are a couple of threads on this site that pertain to it. (with pics) or my work and others like lurch519's.
