Alum Tone Window Switches
Changed to these today. Directions said to disconnect the battery but I disregarded this note. Then it said to put tape around the edge panels and use a flathead with tape on the end to pop off the cover. I also disregarded this note. Here's what I did:
1. Popped off the cover with my bare hands, quite easy.
2. Used tweezers to unscrew the black button components
I'm on a business trip for a few months so didn't have access to my tools.

Sorry for the bad pic. I think it looks much better than the black. I'm also installing the piano black door bezels (not the cheap inserts) for the door handles. Should be in next week. Keep you posted on my Mcgyver installs lol......

Yeah, odd they don't have the mirror option as well. These buttons were not cheap, you can find them for about $133 on Mazda parts and it's the whole component not just the buttons. If my swithches ever go out I have an extra set and can pop the alum buttons onto the black set. That's how I had to rationalize the splurge.
