Another 1DIN dash panel...

Well today while looking around the car audio section at Jim's, I saw that they have a "custom" "kit" for the 8 to add a 1DIN slot in the nav space. Price 19,000 yen. sorry I didn't talk to the sales guy and get furthter details. BUt there are pics I took with my phone... try to enjoy.

A cheaper option to the R-Magic, but this one seems like you have to cut out a hole on your stock center console...

Hey I took the pics with my cell phone which has a crummy camera. I'll upgrade to a 2megapixel camera phone if you're buying...

Yes it looks like the stock dash has to be cut for this one.

Doesn't the R-Magic add-on require to cut the stock dash panel as well?

Do you know who makes the 2DIN to replace the stock radio area?

Yes. You are looking at the one for the dash. There is one that replaces the stock radio.

No not at all. It is a full dash panel replacement... BUT RMagic didn't include anyway to attach it to the dash. No screw mounts or anything. That part REALLY sucks, particularly considering the cost.

This piece... it looks like it attaches like some of those dash gauge kits...
