Any Ideas With This....

So then here it goes.

I have a Double Din head unit i bought from hong kong. Its been in for about 9 months and after a drunken night i woke up the next day to have a huge gash in the dash kit.

I took it out and tried to sand it down and paint it back to perfection. Needless to say, Im not skilled.

Does anyone out there know of a generic adhesive dash mold that i can just cut out and stick over the entire kit.

I know i know, im lazy. But i actually want to see what the different colors would do to the interiot of my 8.

haha Don't think so. BUT you can buy a slimmed version of the Metra kit on eBay. Without the axxess box I believe. Much cheaper.

Oh and any of the adhesive stick on wood grain or brushed steel kits you will find include a ton of pieces and are usually more expensive than the Metra kit anyway. Not to mention they look like poopie.

Well good luck for me,

I found a carbon fiber adhesive that actually made a big difference. Just a cheap fix only 15.00 and it feels carbon fiber to the touch. Autozone to the rescue.

OK so your openly admitting to drinking and driving. At least thats what I'm getting from this post. Be thankful its just a damaged dash kit your dealing with and not a totaled car or a lawsuit for vehicular manslaughter. WTF!

its like a 3 foot by 4 foot adhesive that you can cut yourself. basically its just a thick sticker. Ghetto. But it works. ill post pics when i get them.

Cracked my hazard button though... still trying to find a new one. Mazda is saying for that one button I'd have to buy a complete radio and faceplate. $400 dollars. WTF !!!

So if anyone has any ideas Let me know.

lol They're full of ****. I'd find the part number with a price, then go back in there to give them a piece of my mind. Then refuse to take my car there every again. Scumbags.

PS you tried a junk yard?
