Anyone have AVElectronics problems?

Mine's a little flaky. Any sort of vibration whatsoever and the picture jumps around like crazy. When I crank up my system (around 145 db) I cant make out a thing.

Also, sometimes the screen turns green as if the red wire became disco'd. Hit a pothole or crank the bass and it comes back.

Im guessing its a bad solder joint somewhere in the box. If you tap on it it acts up.

Hey Thew, what kind of warranty comes on these things? Will the warranty be totally screwed if I bring it to a local electronics guy? It seems like something minor.

yes its coverd.. Avelectronincs will replace or repair it.. but it sounds like you have a bad connection in the RGB connection or maybe inside the box.. A bad ground and also a flakey power hook up can make this happen to.. Becasue you said Pot hole or heave base i am thinking its not in the box.

Worst case I will take it back and send you a new one.
Email me and we will get it fixed.. or use AIm

Sounds good Thew. Like I said in my PM, you can make the unit act up by simply tapping on the case. I talked to my electronics guru, he said he wasnt interested in working on it because he doesnt have a monitor in his shop with RGB-ins. Let me know how you want to handle the swap. If it's possible, a cross-ship would be awesome. I wouldnt mind putting up a deposit on the credit card if that'd help.

To everyone else, this is what I call customer service. If you need something, I highly recommend giving Matt (thew) a call. I know I plan to do alot of businees with him in the future.

It's not too bad where I'm at, Texas on the coast, so I'm out in it every day. I guess if I had to go without for a week I could deal with it. It'll suck though not having the xbox there for MP3's. Oh, and my son's gonna be downright pissed off at ya when he cant play grand theft auto on the way to school lol.
