Audio delayed shutoff?
Ok, so I've had mine for about 2 months now and have noticed something odd. I've made an attempt to find it either in the manual and on the boards here but have obviously failed. Is there a delay in the audio shutting off (similar to the amount of time allowed to close windows and the sunroof) when shutting the car off? Sometimes my car does it...sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it continues to play for about 10 secs even after I've removed the key and locked and closed the driver's door. Has anyone else either A. experienced this or B. know where the documentation is that covers it? Today I actually got back in the car and the radio came on as I put the key in the ignition (the key hadn't been turned yet). Sound like a Ghostbusters issue?

My 8 (stock w/ Kenwood WooX sub) does the same thing. You are not alone. I actually noticed it after I put in the sub. I don't remember it doing this before hand. Mine stays on for about 3-5 seconds after the key is removed. I think that's pretty strange too.

Yeah, and the strangest part of it all is that it's not consistent. I've tried different variations on shutdown (prior to seatbelt release, after release, passenger, no passenger, etc.). It's def. something I'll bring up at the 5k mark (couple weeks) when I get the rest of the recall items done, but in the meantime it's just bizarre. Other than that, I've had nothing abnormal happen since I bought it.

I've also seen this behavior of delay; there is a few seconds delay after the key is switch off, ECU still seeing power. I happened to see this behavior when I installed my eManage and was wondering why my eManage still have power when the key was off.
Look normal to me. When the key is off without opening any door, there will be power to the door so you can roll up the window without key on. Once the door open, power is cut; hence, key need to be on for you to roll up or down the window.
It's strange, but I have no problem with that.

Just looking to see if anyone had run into the same thing (like Rambot has).

yup
I've experienced that also..(not the key one though)..it all started to happen after i plugged a power inverter into the accessory port to run my laptop. now it does it sometime..and sometimes it doesn't..even with that thing not installed anymore. did you install or do anything to the elec. system such as what i did? might have been that..
