audio installers in NNJ/Rockland NY

Hi,

I'm from Rockland County, NY. Was wondering if any of you guys could recommend a good installer either in Rockland, or Northern New Jersey.

Thanks

I always recommend a place named Sounds Impossible in Highlands, NJ. They regullary do $10/$20k installs.

thanks for the suggestion, but they're a bit far - 80 miles. Not that 80 miles is that far, but if I have a problem, it's a real hassle to drive that far to get something fixed.

(oh, and also 10-20k install is a bit out of my range)

Bill Acevedo / Omar (if there still) at sounds impossible in my opinion is the best in that area. He usually has many cars in iasca, slap etc. He built Phil P's benz, r. chins blazer, and c striptos neon (i guess you'd have to be in the show circuit to know these guys) but they're just some and many of his installs and most clean up in iasca/usac etc .... plus him and his cronies have good ears and with a 1/3 oct eq, money and an rta meter can make some great souding cars. If I hadn't had my lude built already I'da had him build my car in a second. 3-5k will get you something nice. p9/dexp9eq, dls seperates, zapco c2k's a nice focal sub and you're done. 800(used)/4-500(used)/1-1300(new)/3-500(sub) ~ 3k parts, maybe 50 hours labor at 40/hr. Obviously these are some "serious" guestamates..... lol the labors way too low I'd imagine and I dunno what their current labor rate is..........

Omar is gone, he is selling bikes now...and actually most of the competitors, except Phil, are pretty much out of it too. I haven't seen Chin or Stripto around.... you didn't mention my Camaro though lol...or K's Celica....
