Audio upgrade

Hey all, I just put some new tweeters in my and and all I can say is WOW! What a difference. I have a 2004 GT with the Bose and I put in a pair of Massive Audio CT1 tweets http://www.massiveaudio.com/store/pr...cat=257&page=1 I put them in the stock door pods and they sound great. The crossover fit right in the pod and I can put it back to stock in 10 minutes. I am also in the process of building a fiberglass enclosure for 2 8" subs http://www.amazon.com/Rockford-Fosga...163921&sr=8-12in the trunk, but I am not ready to post pics of that yet, kind of rough.

Yep! Best bang-for-the-buck audio mods are:
1] replace the tweets with titanium models
2] disable the center speaker under the windshield

MI I give up

I decided to give up on the custom fiberglass box that tucks in the corner. I have so much time and money into it and it still looks like crap. I purchased a dual 8" sealed box with black carpet, screw in my subs.....DONE. UPS guy showed up at 6:05 and at 6:30 I am bumpin'! Now I have bass!

So these fit without any cutting etc? Would I need instructions or is it pretty much straight forward?

I've contemplated something like an Infiniti basslink many times. Easy install, easy to remove, sounds great apparently. I like stuff to look basically stock...

Take off the tweeter pod and it is really east to install new tweeters. You could just hot glue them in place. I made a little bracket out of a small scrap of metal, but its very easy. The subs are a little more involved, because you have to run the power and RCA cables. There are some good DIYs int his forum. Check the sticky at the top.
