audio wiring problem
hey all, I just bough an 04 6spd gt and when i looked in the trunk i found a few wires that were disconnected and looking at the back speakers it seems like nothing is plugged in right. just wondering if anyone knew what to do or if i'm better off taking it to a local shop to get charged for an easy fix. and also what does that **** control, right now it doesn't seem to have an effect on anything. Thanks for any info!

Looks like the previous owner had an aftermarket system installed. With those skinny wires and cheap RCAs, I'd say it wasn't anything worth a damn. Do the rear speakers work? If so, sounds like they hooked everything stock back up correctly. You can remove those loose wires if you'd like. If the rear speakers don't work, you're going to need to follow the speaker wires back from the speaker to wherever they go (or if they're cut, etc).
The **** adjusts the voltage running on a pair of aftermarket RCAs to an aftermarket amp. Not going to do anything without an aftermarket amp and speakers.
