audiolink help please!

ive had the audiolink in my car for about 6mo. and it was working fine. yesterday the stearing wheel controls stopped working. i hit next or back and the number on the desplay changes and the time resets but the song doesnt change as an example the display would say EX1 77 34:10, i hit the next button and it says EX1 78 00:00 but the song doesnt change. also it doesnt pause and shut down when the car is turned off or start up when the car is started (assuming i turned it off manual, if it was still on before it would just keep going).

any ideas would be great

well i thought i would update this as when i searched this the orginal time i found no soultion. i did remove the raidio and checked the conection but they were all good and that did not solve the problem. after dealing with it for about a month(as i could still skip with the ipad) my ipod locked up. i did the reset on the ipod and that miraculously fixed the problem with steering wheel controls. so if anyone else has this problem try reseting the ipod first as its a lot easier than removing the radio
