Auto Locking doors on takeoff(?)
#26
I've gotta glock that says I won't be car jacked easily. I do have an office in a very bad part of town so I usually lock my doors just so no one opens the passenger side door at a light. But this feature would not bug me much.
I was in dowtown Detroit once when I was a kid and a guy walked up at a light and tried to get in. Luckily the door was locked which gave my dad time to reach in the glove box and grab his service revolver. Needless to say, the guy bolted when my dad leaned over but I'll never forget that moment or teh guys face because he looked jacked up. People are crazy, you never know. Ever see that video of the crack head taking a pipe to the PT cruiser? That is why I carry.

The only autolock feature I like is the one Mazda has off by default. With the advance key system you can have the dealer turn on the option for the car to autolock when you walk away from the vehicle.
Locking doors while I start to drive is just pointless. The lock will not keep the door anymore secure.
