question if i were to venture out and make one of these a would they work for other cars? say a dodge caliber (fiance's car) and b do you have pictures of where you hooked it up to the cig lighter and tapped into the headlight wires?

Yes, this should work in just about any car. The wiring is different in every car. So pictures of where I tapped the wires in a RX-8 isn't going to help you install it in a Caliber.

the bukkake master!
rr i have a question about your circuit board/schematic. and your board im assuming that the black box with the clear top is the relay but what is the blue component that is over the three diodes?

if anyone is interested in a simpler setup, my head lights turn on with the ignition, and off when you turn the car off. less than 7 in parts, and maybe 30 minutes for someone with little experience

Hey Rasp... I want to build the automatic headlight circuit driving by the photocell. However, I do not want to use relays. Do you have a circuit diagram with the relays replaced by transistors? Also, where do you connect the output of the circuit to the headlights (i.e. Where do you find the wires to connect to)? Thanks.

these are the three wires you have to tap. Just remove the three screws that hold the plastic steering column cover and you'll see these wires. I don't have time to make a new schematic, but adding those tranistors should be pretty straight forward.
