Autometer Cobalt series w/RB gauge pod

Hey Folks..

finally got my gauges installed (done by Lurch519)..I used the Autometer Cobalt series...

1. A/F wideband
2. Boost/Vac
3. Water Temp

everything looks really good....gauge pod had great fitment...
I choose to put the A/F in the center since its digital and i can easily see it inspite of the shifter...boost/vac on the left and water temp on the right...

the $7 bracket that is available from RB really comes in handy by stablizing all 3 gauges together keeping them tight and in the upright position...no spinning...
its definitely worth the extra $7...but you do have to call them to order it...its not listed on the website...

here are a couple of pics...i will post some up later today..

this was a test fit i did before the actual install

after a run (note the water temp)...its pretty hot on the east coast today

Lurch/chuck and the color blue wtf?? lol
They look great Pat. But small quick question how come you opted for the lower mounted gauges instead of a A pillar or something similar to what Chris has?

Kev - I picked out the cobalt.... not chuck....
Chuck was gonna built a custom A pillar pod..what happened was i put a straight pipe on it so we wanted to check the A/F so we temporarily installed the wideband in the ash tray for a couple of weeks.....i found that the location was fine for visability...so i opted for the RB gauge pod...

they are very easy to see...
and i love the blue!!!

I was a part of a focus group that evaluated gauges. In the end it turned out to be the Autometer Cobalt that we were comparing against 2 dozen other models of gauges (the names and brands were blanked out). We loved the Autometer Cobalt and Carbon series. I got paid $100 for my time.

Those gauges are lit by LEDs and I think you can change the color of the display.
