No, thats an FM transmitter. Those are awful. The integration kit displays all your stuff on the radio screen and plugs into the back of the head unit. and you use the radio controls tocontrol your ipod.

 

Hey i have the auxmod unit lying around if anyone wants to buy it... It plugs into a port on the back of the stock radio, and basically has an aux input..to get sound through your radio for your ipod, dvd player, etc, you just hit your TAPE button and it goes directly through your radio. Easiest way to go in my opinion.....as a side note you cant get it anymore until the company restocks sometime at the end of the year. I used it when I had a 1/2 din dvd player installed. PM me if interested.

I'd double check on that integration unit. You mean the OEM one right? Pretty sure it has the same firmware compatibility issues...

 

auxmod doesnt need firmware upgrade ..if you can find it anywhere

yea you need a tape/md button..even though you may not have a tape player or anything on your stock radio..the majority of stock radios from 05 and up have the button I think, but some dont.

This is PERFECT! This is exactly what I was looking for. For me, these mods are second nature. Going to wire a Bluetooth audio bridge to this and supply the voltage so its all wireless. Great for new iPhones / iPod touches.
