BASS = Bad NAV??

Hello everyone, this will be my first post, so I hope I am not repeating this question. Anyway, I am debating installing an 8" Square SOLOBARIC woofer in the passway cover between the rear seats. My question is this, will high bass at such a close proximity to the navigation DVD player affect the NAV's performance in anyway? Has anyone noticed dvd skipping or anything unusual when they turn their bass up? I would like to have this info before I commit to cutting on the passway cover. Thank you all.

Thanks for the coment, I was starting to think I wouldnt get a response. I checked early this morning and got a pretty cold welcome, or was this just a really lame question to ask? Anyway, again thank you, once I get started with this instal, I will post pics and DIY info.

I just thought it wouldn't be a problem because someone else on the board did it to their 8 with no problems.
