Bass hits and Nav screen Jumps

Any way to stop the Nav screen from jumping when the bass hits....and dont say turn it down : )

Are you talking about the image jumping, or the actual screen moving?

If it's just the image, it's not actually the nav screen. It's your eyeballs playing tricks on you. If the screen's moving, take Ajax's advice

If I were you, I would just be happy you had great bass & factory nav. Did you notice nobody is feeling sorry for you?

I have seen where the nav dvd actually skips due to the bass, so it is possible it is not the screen at all.

Its not the cd actually skipping, the screen is flickering like its interference. Im guessing no has has experienced this?? lol

How are you running power to your amp? If you are drawing power from a source that interfers with the nav's power, that could be part of the problem.

Exactly what it was. thanks Jerky 8. DVD Module was on the same power wire as the fm modulator.

I figured that would be the problem you were having because I made a similar mistake when I first wired the power to my DVD player/tv tuner. This car is too damn touchy. I'm still have interference issues with this thing and I've had it installed for months. Hopefully one day I will figure out how to ground out the noise, but I am glad you fixed your issue.
