Hey anyone heard anything about this. I just got my 05 2 weeks ago with the bose and wanted more bass. I was looking at the kenwood w00x and the infinity basslink ii but the kenwood seems to be too weak at 75rms and the basslink would take out too much of our already small trunk;but then I came across this and it appears it would be a nice little sub for the rx-8.

I put myself on to be notified once this comes out. Anyone think this would be decent for the size/price.

 

It really depends on what you want. I don’t think a 8inch at 120watts even being in a ported box is going to be enough to match the bose system. Depends on how loud you usually listen to music. The bose system is fairly loud I had a 10inch P2 Rockford sub which is 200rms in a sealed box with a 500rms amp on it and was decently loud but could barely be heard when I was listening to the system at max volume. If you never turn the system up past 20 and usually listen to music in the 12-18 range I imagine the 8 inch sub would be fine but im almost sure listing to the bose at max volume you wouldn’t even be able to tell the sub is back there.

 

yeah I usually listen to about 12-18 range esp when on the highway for miles tends to give me a headache if it too much louder.
